Fiji Trade News - 8 May 2020
Tourism Fiji - Happy moments.
At a time when we are all playing our part by physically distancing ourselves from one another, Fiji remains there for you in spirit throughout it all. We will continue to look after the 333 islands of our South Pacific nation - the sandbanks, sea caves, rainforests, sand dunes, coral reefs, waterfalls, rivers and vibrant wildlife - so that you can have plenty of happy moments here when the time is right. And the Fijian people too, they will be waiting to welcome the world back to their home. For now, we say 'Sota tale...stay safe and see you soon.'
Fiji Airways - Sota Tale.
When the time is right we will be here to welcome you back to our home. From our Fijian family to yours…Sota Tale. It’s not goodbye, just see you later. WATCH THEIR BEAUTIFUL SOTA TALE VIDEO
Sofitel Fiji Resort - Busy renovating.

Our block of Luxury Rooms will be finished by 11th May. We have already started work on our first wing of Superior Rooms. Mid May we'll take a further wing of rooms offline (our Family Rooms with bunk beds) and renovate both Superior and Family wings concurrently. We are also coming to an end with work on the main hotel lobby - work to the main reception desk and our new water features is all that is left to do in that space. On the ground floor of the main hotel building, we are about to start work on our new Executive Lounge too. Work is also taking place on the new coffee shop and dedicated Fiji Airways onsite check-in lounge.

In addition to that, we are continuing the construction on 4 more Garden Tropical Bures, renovating our 10,000 square foot spa and creating new menus for the bar.
